NSS, Jamia Millia Islamia Hosts Peace Seminar and Cleanliness Drive

 New Delhi : The Peace Clubs of NSS Jamia Millia Islamia, in collaboration with Universal Peace Federation (UPF) India, organized a one-day seminar on peace and cleanliness, attended by students and faculty members.

Eminent speakers, Mr. Krishna Adhikari, Secretary General of UPF India, and Dr. Abid Husain, Coordinator, Swachh Bharat Mission, and Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology, delivered motivational lectures on the importance of peace, cleanliness, and sanitation.

The seminar was followed by a cleanliness drive in the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture, and the main campus, where students and staff participated enthusiastically, demonstrating their commitment to cleanliness and sanitation.

Dr. Abid Husain emphasized the need for cleanliness and sanitation in achieving peace and harmony, while Mr. Krishna Adhikari highlighted the role of youth in promoting peace and cleanliness.The event aimed to sensitize students about the importance of peace and cleanliness, encouraging them to take ownership of cleanliness initiatives.
