Jodhpur, May 11: Union Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said that under 'Operation Sindoor', the amazing valour and courage of the army has given a new identity to India's military capability on the world stage. He said, as per the expectations of the 140 crore people of the country, our army gave a befitting and appropriate reply to every nefarious act of Pakistan, due to which Pakistan had to come to its knees.




Talking to the media in Jodhpur, Shekhawat said bluntly, India's war against terrorism, India's commitment to end terrorism, without compromising even one percent in it, the Indian army destroyed every evil intention of Pakistan. During the five-day period of Operation Sindoor, Pakistan's infrastructure was badly damaged due to the retaliatory action of India's defense system.

He said, India had accepted the ceasefire without any conditions till May 12, but on Saturday night such information came that the ceasefire was violated by Pakistan, on which the Indian army also retaliated.

Medical facilities were reviewed

Shekhawat held a review meeting with the heads of the main hospitals of the city at Atal Seva Kendra located in Jodhpur Collectorate premises on Sunday with the aim of strengthening medical facilities in case of emergency.

During this, feedback was taken about the medical facilities available in critical situations at Dr. SN Medical College and associated hospitals, Jodhpur AIIMS, Army Base, Railways and major hospitals of the city. During this, the Union Minister gave necessary guidelines to keep all types of necessary medical facilities available.

He said, in such times, coordination should be maintained among all these, everyone should be able to work responsibly, and work should be distributed according to their capacity, so that there is no panic later, this has been ensured. On the other hand, the Union Minister also visited the border areas on Sunday. During this, he discussed the current situation with the people, representatives of Border Public Welfare Committee and other organizations.
