More than 100 terrorists killed in May 7 attacks: DGMO
If Pakistan dares to do anything now, Indian Army will give a befitting reply to its every action
New Delhi, 11 May : Regarding 'Operation Sindoor', Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai told in a press conference on Sunday that if Pakistan dares to do anything tonight, Indian Army will give a befitting reply to its every action. He said that Pakistan Army should prepare to count the bodies of its dead soldiers.
Lieutenant General Ghai told that more than 100 terrorists including Yusuf Azhar, Abdul Malik Rauf and Mudassir Ahmed were killed under 'Operation Sindoor' conducted on May 7. This action was carried out by identifying nine terrorist hideouts and using ultra-modern and precise weapons.
He also told that Indore-based 'Navi' unit and special team of Air Force were involved in this operation. Clear evidence of destruction of terrorist hideouts was also presented in the press conference. The DGMO said, "Indian Army has been given a free hand. If Pakistan Army takes any provocative action, it will get an immediate and strong response."
He also clarified that the ceasefire was initiated by Pakistan and India accepted it on its own terms. However, if Pakistan violates it, it will be fully responsible. All the drones sent by Pakistan on May 8 and 9 were successfully shot down by Indian troops. On May 9, there was a fierce clash with Pakistan in which it suffered heavy losses.
