IND vs SA: South Africa announced squads for the ODI and T20I, Bavuma will lead the side in ODIs and Markram in T20Is.

New Delhi, 22 November, 2025: Just ahead of the second Test against India, starting Saturday in Guwahati, Cricket South Africa has announced its squad for the ODI and T20I series. Following the Test series, South Africa will play three ODIs and five T20Is against India.

Temba Bavuma returns as captain for the ODI series. Bavuma was not part of the ODI series against Pakistan due to injury. Batsman Rubin Hermann has also been included in the ODI squad. Wicketkeeper-batsman Hermann made his ODI debut against Pakistan earlier this month. Kagiso Rabada has been ruled out of both the ODI and T20I series due to injury.

The first ODI will be played in Ranchi on November 30, the second in Raipur on December 3, and the third in Visakhapatnam on December 6.

Temba Bavuma (captain), Ottneil Baartman, Corbin Bosch, Matthew Breetzke, Dewald Brevis, Nandre Burger, Quinton de Kock, Tony de Zorzi, Rubin Hermann, Keshav Maharaj, Marco Jansen, Aiden Markram, Lungi Ngidi, Ryan Rickelton, Prenelan Subrayen.

Aiden Markram will captain the T20I side. Anrich Nortje has returned to the format after a long absence. The T20I series schedule includes five matches: the first in Cuttack on December 9, the second in New Chandigarh on December 11, the third in Dharamsala on December 14, the fourth in Lucknow on December 17, and the fifth in Ahmedabad on December 19.
